It’s December 1 so the Scottish Terrier and Dog news is officially embarking on its daily Christmas coverage.
Is it just me or is it hard to imagine the couple pictured in this 1964 ad actually taking their Scottie and Westie dogs for a walk? They likely have a devoted housekeeper and gardener, a married couple, who hang with the dogs and take care of their daily needs.

Maybe they went for a walk earlier and now it’s time to relax…. but when will they get those duds off the dogs???
I’m not even sure those are real dogs after looking closely at them again. That would explain a lot.
