The Black and White Scottie and Westie dogs in a 1957 ad. No life jackets but they didn’t have seat belts back in those days either. And these terriers’ masters, as we’ve discussed before here at the Scottie News, were not overly concerned with their dogs’ safety. Too much whiskey, no doubt.
