Yesterday’s poop post led a reader to ask what biodegradable poop bags I use. The answer is PoopEase. I like them because you don’t have to inspect for holes and they are ergonomically designed to prevent accidents and make pickup easy. And no, I’m not being paid by the company, but they are worth every cent.

Now, the other thing I would unhesitatingly recommend for dog walks is the new iPod nano with radio. I love it. It’s the best portable radio I’ve ever had plus there’s also a built in pedometer for OCD types to track their steps. That would be 4,871 this morning in the rain.

Regarding our last Halloween post — and there’s another one coming soon — a number of readers said they liked the Westie dressed as a bee. Well, there’s a whole web sited devoted to dogs dressed as bees that is very popular. We’ve featured the Scottie bee but I’ll have to dig it up later for you.

Update: Here’s the link to the Scottish Terrier dressed as a bee. And here’s Scout the wheaten dressed up as a bee last year, an experience that her owner Carol says she did not much enjoy and will not be repeated again.
