Here’s the back story on Westie-owning Ken and the double entendre that is his official name:
“The ‘Palm Beach Sugar Daddy Ken’ is actually part of the adult Barbie Collector Line,” a spokeswoman (for Mattel) told the New York Post. “It is targeted toward adults.”And before anyone thinks the “Sugar Daddy” title refers to an older man with a younger lover, Mattel says that there’s a much more innocent explanation.
“The little dog’s name is actually Sugar,” said the Mattel spokeswoman. “That’s where the name comes from. He’s Sugar’s daddy, as a reference to the dog.”
A Scottie definitely would not go as well with his outfit although perhaps a Wheaten would do in a pinch.

Umm, I can tell you that my Sweetie Wheatie, Rory who loves most people would definately not wish to be seen on the end of his string from that outfit….Juz sayin'!
I think a French poodle would be more fitting in this case.
I don't think either one of my Wheatens would be seen with him!! Maybe a Yorkie or a miniature Poodle.
OMG … he's wearing a Von Trapp curtains jacket! I swear it's the same material that Julie Andrews made the childrens clothes from in the film, (Ok, it's been a while since I watched 'The Sound of Music' but as a Artist and X designer, I never forget a fabric.)
Anyways, I'm sure Kirk would chew that coat given the chance!

Also that "Westie" is way out of scale, I know that they have been bred down in size over the last while, but they aren't that miniscule yet.
He has probably shrunk from the embarrassment of it. Maybe they were trying for a Maltese?! So Ken is the Sugar Daddy but is Barbie the Mommy?? (no don't answer).
Tegan, I recently watched the Sound of Music and payed special attention to the scene where they all wear their curtain clothes.
You are 100% right in that both Ken and the kids were outfitted in green brocade. However, one difference, is that the boys wore the brocade as bottoms while Ken has it on top.
