Update: We’ve featured the two Black and White Scotties on the Scottish Terrier and Dog News many times, but I was thrown by what looks like a beer top on the whiskey bottle. Also, I didn’t know their names were Blackie and Whitey. Go figure.

It is an advertisement for Black & White Scotch. They were very popular in the 40s and 50s. I have a few of the advertisements that I bought and had framed. Many people think they are two Scottish terriers but really it is a Scottie and a Westie named Blackey and Whitey (go figure).
If I remember correctly, Blackie and Whitey are from the Black and White Whiskey ads.
