Robbin of Scottie Friends and Alabama writes:

Please PLEASE forgive my tardiness, I’ve been without power but it was finally restored today.

I wanted to send out this email to shout out to all members who live in the areas where all the tornado’s have hit.
I hope you and your families are all doing ok and if you’ve lost something during this devastation you are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need anything…… food, water, or a place to stay please call me !!!!!

Please check in at Scottie friends when you can to let us all know you’re ok. I’ve started a discussion called “Tornados” where you can share anything you would like related to these terrible storms that have passed through. I believe we have around 27 members in Alabama.

Please check in. I am concerned as Alabama had around 150 tornados come through. Not sure about the other states. But this storm effected many lives and families from other states as well. And I hope all my Scottie friends members and families are ok.

Thinking of you all,

Robbin

Scottie Friends is always a great site.

The Scottish Terrier News would also like to extend our sympathies to anyone caught up in this terrible storm.

A bleg from the Scottie News

Hi everyone,

I am trying to migrate the Scottie News and some other dog blogs over to WordPress and it’s been taking up way too much of my time, which is why I’ve put it off for so long.

Basically if anyone knows a good step-by-step guide to importing multiple blogs into one new WordPress site with sub-domains or sub-directories (depending on which is best), please let me know.

I will be using the Thesis theme.

scottishterriernews@gmail.com

Hope springs eternal.

I would have found a puzzled Scottish Terrier photo if I hadn’t stayed up until forever trying to figure this out.

Lost Scottish Terrier in Oregon

A reader writes:

We are desperately searching for a lost Scottie in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. He disappeared from the back yard of a pet sitter in Jefferson, Oregon on June 15th, while my parents were in Hawaii. The sitter is not in suspicion of stealing him. His name is Wallace, and he is a two year old neutered male. He had on a collar and tags. We have posted a $500 reward everywhere within the city of Jefferson and canvassed the neighborhood, called the police, animal control, shelters, posted lost/reward ads on craigslist, called vets, etc.

Please contact katfish at peak dot org if you have any information that could help find Wallace.

Okay, is there anyone who’s not temporarily Team Feline after that?

Don’t worry. The Scottie News has received all your photos and videos, and we will be publishing them all — eventually. We love seeing your dogs and helping you show them off. And we’re sorry that it sometimes takes us longer than we’d like to get all your photos up.

In the mean time, please keep reading.
